Background

Freelance bass player Nisse Palm has spent years developing a deep interest in—and understanding of—the double bass sound chain: instrument, musician, and technology..

This long-standing focus led him to found Chain of Sounds. The project was accepted into Movexum’s incubator in 2020—sparked, fittingly, during the pandemic. The concept and foundational framework were developed in collaboration with the innovation bureau Sticky Beat, with early support through startup grants and innovation funding from the Swedish government and Region Gävleborg.

Until recently Chain of Sounds also was a startup at Brewhouse Incubator in Gothenburg. Approved as an excellent Incubator by Vinnova, (Swedish Govermental Agency for Innovation Systems).
