Arnold Schnitzer: World reknown Luthier who earned degrees in bass and composition before studying instrument making and repairing. He is a member of the faculty of the Violin Society of America’s Oberlin Bass Workshop. Arnold has made over 50 Basses which are currently played by members of leading Symphony Orchestras and other professional ensembles and bassists around the world.
Richard Myron: "as a writer you have to know a lot of words, as a bassist you have to know a lot of sounds" Richard is professor of contrabass and chamber music in the early music department of the CRR de Paris and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Music de Paris. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he earned his B.Mus at the Juilliard School as a student of Homer Mensch. Awarded the Frederick Zimmermann Memorial Scholarship. His studies of early music led to his activities as an internationally recognized leader in historic performance practice playing the contrabass and violone.
John van Lierop: a true global citizen. Principal bass for Sinfonia Rotterdam and a frequent guest principal bass in many European orchestras, living in Sweden (might HE be the flying Dutchman?) John has also been teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Douglas Acadamy and the University of Rio de Janeiro and gives masterclasses around the world. John is perfect for Chain of Sounds with his impressive experience in leading a bass section, interesting views on sound and a fantastic knowledge and interest in historic makers and instruments

With an impressive knowledge and passion for pedals, rack systems and studio equipment, Göran has built his world of mouth reputation. Working as a producer, engineer and guitarist (welcome to the Bass Club Göran!)
Pal Johnsson: Freelance bassist, luthier and educator. With an impressive CV as a recording and touring bassplayer, Pal has earned a reputation as a versatile outpost in Chamber music, Big Band as well as the Pop scene. His many years on the road turned him on to sound improvement and he is now also a sought after Bass luthier.
